Meaning of this Vintage Solex Metal Sign
Repeating a visual from an old advertisement, here is a vintage metal sign representing the Velosolex. Created by the artist René Ravo, a veteran of advertising (his career began in 1920). This poster represents one of the illustrator’s most famous works, who prioritized originality over realism. Here we see a boy on a Solex, inviting others to admire his bike. Ideal for an original wall decoration, this Solex plaque will make a superb gift idea.
