Description of this Citroën Metal Sign
Citroën is a French automobile marque introduced in 1919 by André Citroën and owned by Stellantis since 2021.
In 1934, the firm established its reputation for innovative technology with the Traction Avant, the world’s first mass-produced car with front-wheel drive, four-wheel independent suspension, and a unibody construction, omitting a separate chassis and instead using the car’s body itself as the primary load-bearing structure.
In 1954, It produced the world’s first self-leveling hydropneumatic suspension system and then, in 1955, the revolutionary DS, the first mass-produced car equipped with modern disc brakes and, in 1967, it introduced swiveling headlights in several of its models that allowed better visibility on winding roads; these cars received various national and international awards, including three European Car of the Year awards.
