Designed by Hervé Morvan in 1959, this large advertising poster is a reproduction of an advertisement for the Banania family breakfast. This brand was originally created in 1914 by journalist and banker Pierre-François Lardet during his trip to Nicaragua. We find the traditional colors of the brand, namely young and brown, while we also see Ami Y’a Bon, inspired by a Senegalese rifleman. The latter tenderly enjoys a cup of chocolate breakfast: we almost want to sip some too!
