Description of this Honda Metal Sign
The Honda Valkyrie is a motorcycle that was manufactured by Honda from 1996 to 2003. It was designated GL1500C in the American market and F6C (“Flat Six Custom”) in other markets.
The Valkyrie’s engine is a 1,520 cubic centimeters (93 cubic inches), liquid-cooled, horizontally opposed V-twin transplanted from Honda’s Gold Wing model, as opposed to the V-twin typically found on cruiser-style motorcycles. The most notable changes to the Goldwing-derived engine were the camshaft and the switch to six individual 28mm carburetors, one for each cylinder, which increased power and torque.
The Valkyrie was offered with reverse gear in Japan. The Valkyrie was manufactured in the United States at Honda’s Marysville, Ohio, motorcycle plant.
