Description of this Vintage Ocean Liner Poster
This vintage advertising reproduction was created by Max Ponty in 1929 and promotes the Ocean Liner Lyautey, from the Paquet company. In the past, the artist had already created the famous smoky dancer from Gitanes cigarettes. Paquet was one of the many companies that linked the French metropolis to its colonies by boat. With its modern style poster, the company seeks to show that it is at the cutting edge of technology: the work is refined and original, geometric, the colors bright, and the size of the ship seems gigantic. Thanks to its efficient and sober design, this magnificent vintage poster will make an excellent decorative object for the wall decoration of your interior.
